Health researches in the Republic of Moldova are coordinated by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and Ministry of Healthcare. In the framework of the Academy of Sciences there is one strategic direction of the science and innovations development “Biomedicine and Human Health” that involves scientific researches under the State Research Programs and Institutional Programs in fields of: Oncology, Cardiology, Mother and Child Health Care, TB, Preventive Medicine, Reproduction and Medical Genetics, Health Management, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Medical Emergency (for details see http://www.asm.md). In the framework of the Ministry of Healthcare there are 11 National Programs with scientific components (for details see http://www.ms.gov.md)
